I'm a bit torn on where I want to set my Blaster's ride height. I put the 450R shock on it's riding about 3/4" lower now......which I like with the 21" fronts/20" rears and +3 swingarm. I'm going to soften up the compression somewhat as it's a bit stiff still. When I am sitting on it, it goes drops about 3.25" in the back, however going by ANOTHER measurement, my frame base height stays the same at 8.5" around the A-arm and then 8.5"ish around the pegs at the back of the frame. Ideally, I'd like to drop the frame height around the pegs to 8.25", but don't really feel like dropping the sag height much more. I like it riding lower like that, but at the same time with the geometry of the +3 and added leverage, I would like to have as much preload as possible simply to negate bottoming out....then play with ride comfort and response afterwards with compression and rebound adjustments. Where are you guys running at?
