what pipe do i have?

Do i have an aftermarket expansion chamber? It was on the bike when i bought it. It has B1 stamped into it and is about the same shape as the stock bend. Is this a toomey pipe? I can get pics if needed.

If it's stamped "B1" then it's a toomey headpipe.

yup, like he said, if it's stamped b1 it's a toomey. good pipe! especially if it came with the machine

thanks for the fast replies. It has some surface rust on it. is there anyway to get it off and keep it from coming back?

Be aware that this process will produce hydrogen gas which is flamable/explosive. Works good, ask Quadrider 10, he's also used it.

I would try some mothers wheel polish if the rust is not to bad.

Hmmmmm ill be giving this a try on some stuff.

Id suggest if it gives off any flammable gases a well ventilated area "MATCH IN THE GAS TANK BOOM BOOM"

Ya that should be mentioned . I wouldn't do it on a pipe that you wanted pretty/shiney, as I would have to think that the electrolisis process is simular to chroming except reverse polarity? The "Tool Time" in me got to thinking "What if I used the welder for powwaa?" Realized it was AC out X(

WORKED AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! on my pipe that was rusty beyond anything! but i would try aluminum foil and coke first. i heard that wors well with pipes that are not painted already. like mine was painted so i used that method^^^^
