what kind of leak is this ??!?

I can't seem to figure out where this leak is coming from and I know I need to do a leak down test but any assumptions would help . Thanks

looks like spooge from the exhaust. agree with blaaster. Leaktest to be sure.

I would check the exhaust as well. But once you pull it, inspect that area. Could be the case, or as stated the base gasket.

only other thing i will add is perhaps it is coming from the over flow tube that is pointed in that direction from the tranny breather tube.
but everyone has a problem of leaky flanges/even on dirt bikes ect..

I would say its an air leak Make sure you get oem or cometec gaskets for the head and base. No green paper

Pipe to flange or flange to cyl. Be sure parts are oil free and allow to set/cure 24hrs before use. More if real cold temps.

Looks that way, could be both, a new crush gasket should be used each time the exhaust flange is removed
