yes, it switches to the internal GPU.
this was a whole long thing about this. i regionally put out the 160$ for a GPU/Motherboard, and it dident work.so i had the 160 to originally spend after that. besides, i worked my ass off for months, and decided to buy my self something.
ive been into computer for a LONG time, and i really like messing with them, so it was fun to do this and get it working. plus i was the first one on that site to do a eGPU

you can build a nice decent gaming computer for about $400 brandy new parts. however instead of spending 400, i spent 160 and got mine "up to date"
took me 3 days up until 2am every day to figure out. no its not easy. and your computer may not support it.
plus i havent completely finished the tutorial.
so it's a gaming laptop with supernice graphics when you want it. Yes? with all the internal hardware programing to handle hi resolution online games i take it.
with a touch of HD video editing and good music

absolutly love it for gaming, after i took cars of the over heating and other problems that they quit making it for these multiple reasons
