I did a leakdown test about 2 months ago and I was leaking out the bottom of the case halfs. I'm going to split the cases sometime to yamabond them together. But, I really don't think that is my whole problem, Because it ran REALY good after that, until I took the engine on and off and back on... Now its just acting really werid. I know it will fail a compression test too, I've never felt a kickstarter that is so weak. But it still ran really good despite those things. I've checked the carb (which by the way doesn't run with an air filter), the reeds are good. I just checked all the electrical, it all reads good.... Can CDI's go bad gratually or do they just go out all at once? Because everything in my electrical tests in spec, But I'm still not getting really good spark... :-/

you realize if its leaking out of the cases, you've been running it lean, and the reason it has no compression is that you burned up the top end right? the burnt up top end is the reason that you don't have any compression. and without compression, it won't work right until you fix it. and not just do a top end, but fix the leak between the cases as well.

carb clogged or air filter.....same thing happenw ith my quad and i cleaned air filter and it ran like new again....well also a spark plug n pipe tightened

wait a second. i am lost.
you did a leakdown test and found an air leak. you then made the conscious decision to ride your quad. am i following your story correctly still?

i think i found what is wrong with your blaster, the owner.
you don't continue to ride your quad after you found it has a major issue with it, like an air leak in the cases.
your top end is gone, your bottom end might be messed up too.

let this be a lesson to all blaster owners. if you find an air leak, dont ride your quad for another 2 months without fixing the problem.
