Hello, I'm getting a go pro (in the mail) and I am wondering about where I should mount it on my helmet. For those of you who don't know it comes with 2 curved mounts and 2 flat mounts. So, I was thinking maybe upside down underneath the visor. It auto-corrects the video to right side up. Or I saw this video with it mounted on the chin part of the helmet. Or, on the side, but I would be worried if I am trail riding and look back then forward and the go pro falls off the helmet when I turn back there might be a tire. (ik kinda funny to think that but it could happen on tight trails) Or... maybe just on the top.
Thanks for reading this paragraph about how I should mount my go pro on my helmet. BlastfromPast69.

EDIT:
here is a video of the chin strap
here is a video of the under the visor mount
Sorry they aren't of blasters just first ones that popped up:/

2 curved and 2 flat comes with it????? lucky mine only came with one of each....

im betting you are only getting one of each bud

id just stick it on top....

yea on the website it says it comes with 2 curved and 2 flat mounts
if i mount it on the bumper I would probably crash just because it would be on the bumper and f*** the camera up, but good idea it would look cool
I'm really just lucky that I'm getting one.
Thanks for the feedback guys.
I still don't know where I'm going to mount them.

Me and giz went snowboarding, i caught an edge and landed on it so hard it broke the tabs off the bottom of the case, and smashed the handlebar mount

The camera itself wont even have a scratch

Get a good mount if you are going on the frame/bumper, no sticky ones

I mount mine to my front bumper using a handlebar mount. My buddy has his mounted to his helmet.

I've heard the best way to do the chin mount is to get a wrist mount and wrap it around the mouth guard.

yea, idk i dont really want to buy more mounts so i might just put it on the helmet or maybe make one because lets be honest here (not trying to dis go pro) go pro over charges for their mounts and other stuff beside the actually camera. The Micro sd card 16gb on their website is $25. On Amazon its about $12 and under for the same brand (i think its sandisk or something like that)

The go pro is fun to mess with mounting. In the end you will find that on top of your helmet takes the best vids especially when you just want to set it and forget it. But if you got time to mess wirth it there are alot of other good views.I bought 2 flat and 2 curved billet aluminum mounts and have not had one bit of trouble with them.Never broken anything on my cam, takes branches, sticks, rocks just fine.Plus alot easier to remove the aluminum mounts than the plastic ones. Some new 3m tape and put it wherever you want:)
