what is my kx worth

the guy that traded me that gun for the carb wants to buy one of my kx 250 needs a topend and a carb because I sold him the carb for the bike and has new swingarm bearings new ufo plastic stock exaust and tires that are pretty worn and I was wondering what yall think it is worth

4 to 5 hundred. Doesn't really matter the year cause your already looking at $300 for a plate job and $100 or so for a piston kit. Than about $60 or more for another a new carb off eBay. Most kx250 bikes under 1994, running, go for about $800. 94-98 usually go around $1000 to $1500 running and newer bike about the same or more depending on condition.

I love the 96-98 KX250's, those engines can be made to make so much bottom end it's like riding a turbo charged XR. I would agree with the posted estimates, average + condition bikes can be had for $1200-$1500 and buying broken to fix myself I figure to put no more than 75% of the value of the repaired bike.
