What engine oil

Silly questionj I know
What grade etc of oil should I be using in the engine
not the 2 stroke stuff, but engine oil

i went to orielys and bought motorcycle oil made for wet clutches

but most oil with NO detergents or friction modifiers works

You speak of gearbox oil, 10w30 four stroke engine oil with a lesser rating than SG, with no friction modifiers.

Or as Herp said.

Some folks use Auto trans fluid type F with excellent results.
