what does a tune up consist of for a atv?

im new to all this an im thinking i need to do a tune up on the bike as well.. what does it consist of an what do i need to do? an how lol?

tune up could mean alot of things.
i would start with:
change tranny oil
fresh gas
new plug
check tire pressures
check brakes
clean airfilter
lube chain

alright i will do that tmrrow then.. how to you clean the carb? im learning as i go an im starting to notice all this is easy i just want the correct input before i touch things..

well you can pull the carb off of the bike.
unscrew the top of it and pull out the slide. Then disassemble the whole thing and use carb cleaner on it.

yep just remember where evrything goes and note the size of the jet while your in there. its on the very bottom its the gold hex shaped thing with a hole in the middle.

a tune on a blaster would be
1) new plug
2) new rings
3) new tranny oil
4) cleaning the carb and check jetting
5) new gas
6) check for air leaks
7) check fuel line for cracking
