Well I'f I could only pick one... you allways want your front wider (about an 1") for proper handling and geometry, so I would pick a wider fron't

Wider in front,...Party in the back! the quad becomes a backwards trike but with 4 wheels by a tiny alittle bit, just look at the design of the Can Am Sypder ... they do the same thing with trophy trucks, baja trucks....

.....say you are trail riding with the rear wider and the trails goes right between two trees and the front of the quad can make it through but you forget your ass is so wide your back tires stop you (LOL) imagine that..
