Any of you that have welded on your Blaster, what do you/did about electrics. Remove, disconnect or what? Anyone not do anything and fubared electrics? Doing a rear hydro and need to weld master bracket on. Thanks for imput. I:I
thats a good question,
i have welded the same bracket on my old frame with zero problems, never gave this a thought, or unhooked anything, i'd say place your ground lead as close as possible to the welding area and it'll be fine
and just did a sh*tload of welding on the new one yesterday, hope it fires
I weld on my bike all the time with no detriment to date. I don't think the electronics are as sensitive as some on the blaster. As long as you have a good solid ground near your weld, you shouldn't have a problem.
Brownie points to all of you !!I:I Gonna put some more clothes on and go hit it I:I. So much for spring in Michigan X(. Got an idea for front hydros , put a few brain cells working on that while I freeze and work on rear. Slightly different route then most have taken. That's what I like about this forum, you don't get flamed for backyard engineering as long as it's clean, functional, and safe. I:I
I'll see if I can get my son to take some pics and post them up.
