welding my blaster

I've welded on my blaster frame without disconnecting anything without any damage. The trick is to make sure you have a good strong ground (with the ground clamp from the welder) near the weld point.

As long as you make sure you're going to make a good connection, you should be good to go.

If you're concerned about it, the only thing I can recommend is to disconnect the CDI box.

But it dont hurt to disconnect your flux capacitor.. :D

these flux capacitor's are only on the setups with spiraled carbs and super swirly heads...oh and the rifled exhaust ports, cant forget that. 8-|

that would be an awesome conversation HEY!!!! Honey!!! Yea, blaster blew up What????!?!? Its OK Im gonna port the motor bore it .90 over add a +10 banshee swing arm and and a whole bunch of compleatly necessary mods to get it running again. dont worry well get through this together. well Im headen to the parts store BYE!!!!!!!

we know were just messing with you but seriously though just move anything you dont want fried and put it on a low setting so you dont melt through your frame and you'll be perfectly fine if you take your time and do it right hope this helps.......

dude I think my eye twitched when I saw your blaster that must be what pure awesome ness must look like. seriously where did you get those work connection frame guard and pro armor heel guard like parts at??

X-2 on good ground close to weld , my old fart brain can't remember and I just welded on it a month ago. Think I diconnected cdi and stator. Pretty sure I did. Better safe than sorry.

Either way you go make sure to ground it as close to the weld location as possible and use a metric crescent wrench whenever you need to.

Hey man, its nice you are going through the forum trying to help, but this post is about two years old... The OP left this site a loooong time ago

Try to keep these oldies out of here...
