I just bought the vitos jet kit and im wondering what main should i use and how many clicks on the needle I have an 02 blaster .020 over boyseen reed reed spacer open air box lid with K&N a DG header with a FMF powercore2 and a stock 26mm mikuni

yea a 280 a good starting point, mabe go down abit,, and keep the stock needle on the center groove
What blasterfreek said. Do NOT use the Vitos needle, you will chase your tail forever trying to nail down the main jet tune.
why is the needle that differnt I read that u shouldn't mix the mikuni with aftermarket and I messed up cause my carb is a shee stock carb
The profile on the Vitos needle is way different than the stock one. You can hold them side by side and see it it is so drastic. It pretty much DUMPS the fuel to the engine on the top end makes leaning out the top end almost impossible without making it dangerously lean elsewhere.
