vitos fat basterd

It really depends on your type of riding and the state of tune your engine is in. Look at my signature and see the build that one of the engine builders' on the sire recommended for my use. This is the suggested build from Angus Kennedy and it uses a Fat Bastard pipe. I imagine that there are better pipes for a stock engine but if you are going to mod your engine this is a good way to go.

Re: vito's fat bastard

well i seen a dyno on here an the bastard pipe was 2nd but right up there, the other pipe is a shearer pipe, from what i seen on the dyno i would buy one.dyno was kennedy

ya now im runin a howwold out stock pipe and it kinda sucks compaired to piped 1s on u tube but this is wat i have done i have my own porting job, i shaved the head .20 hotshots ignition, stock card but i might bore it out a little, nice air filter and no lid a race can that i made and what not adjustable timming but will the vitos work well with that

Re: vito's fat bastard

No dude i did not save the link. that fat bastard pipe will work from stock to high mod go for it. the kennedy part just look his name up here he has the dyno on here kennedy powersports

Re: vito's fat bastard

Any pipe but a dg,never tried one but people say they suck no better than stock.

a roller dyno only shows a glimpse of the story by a given load set against it not real world racing it can be altered and is inaccurate below 5,000 rpms thats more than half throttle on alot of these blasters,i would get a power pros / F7 alot of pipes that do good on a peak number high in the power curve can have poor lowend torque and response that cant be picked up on a dyno, thats a majority of your accleration and is critcal on a small motor

A dynojet dynamometer is acceleration dyno and show's real world power. The people that run fast have a bike that has been tuned on a dyno, FACT
If there is a question if the Dyno reads correct, ask for the correction factor along with dyno chart on the same page. I hear the same story from people who do not own a dyno. Then once they purchase one, their story always changes. Engine development is done a dynamometer and track testing is also very important.
Acceleration dyno’s can not be altered, the drum mass is locked in the software.
The Vito pipe is a mid to top end power pipe, the Shearer pipe is a low to mid pipe.
I will post more dyno charts

i may not own a dyno in my shop but i do testing on them and test in the real world at the strip ,the times tell the whole story ,its true everyone has different ways they like ot test things and i wont knock anyone for their beliefs but I will stand by my point that the roller dyno tests only what is set against it and its parameters and also its inaccurate below 5 grand and in reality that often represnts 50% of the total rpm curve on a typical blaster motor ,look at where the dyno curves start on a dyno i would not choose a surgeon who has only been tested at medical school for half the time or less .i would not watch half a football game or read the last half of novel and make a bold summary statement of it .in my opinion what happens below 5 grand is just as critical, a race is often won within the first 20 feet out of the gate
