VIN number

Where is the VIN on a 2006 blaster? I have a 92 and the numbers are stamped on the side of the frame behind the front left tire (if I remember correctly). A yahoo search brought me to a page that states they put a sticker on the frame with the vin, no die stampings. Is this correct?

the vin is, was, and always will be located on the bottom frame rail below the shifter, stamped into the frame
