Hello,
New Blaster owner. I have a 2006 and was looking to upgrade the reed valve and honed in on the vforce 4 reeds after reading some threads praising them. The problem I am running into is that the carburetor boot doesn’t seem to fit as the stock reeds have a slot for the extra rubber that looks like it’s used to direct air flow on the carb boot. My question is if anyone else has ran into this same issue and if so did yall just buy a new flat mating surface boot or just cut off the extra rubber on stock one? Does it matter if I cut that piece of rubber off? It really isn’t much. Thanks and looking forward to getting some feedback.

you cut of the extra part on the intaake booth. did the same on my banshee. and my blaster. just grind it or cut it off. aand use a gasket on both side of the reedss.
but qquestion did you buy real ones from a repetuable quaad bike seller? or jsut aliexprress ones? caause they are sh*t i mean they work but it sh*ty carbon verry hard and not flexible
