Just got my new read system im and im confused. The instructions are vauge. It came with and extra piece that resimbles the read cadge. the instruction say nothing about. And also the pic's show a lip that curlse up above the reads, mine doesnt have. Any help with this please

u just have to cut off the rubber lip on the stock intake.....thats what the extra washers are for in the kit, bolt them together and cut down the gap

thanks for the link. With a read spacer which goes on first? The read cage then the spacer or do u put the spacer on first? For instance "which is closer to the carb the spacer or the read cage?

Reed cage is closer to carb, spacer sits against head intake, closest to motor.

FYI
On another note, reed spacers are controversial and the VForce 3 system is designed to run just the way it is, swapped in, no spacer needed.

hey I would strongly advise you to use a little black RVT gasket maker on both sides of the gaskets and the reed cage, bolt it up, let it dry and wah-lah YOUR AIR LEAK FREE! Those v3's like to leak for some odd reason....

Well the guy befor me had the spacer on last ( closes to the carb ). The spacer was on so the cluch would clear the carb. Will it clear it with the V3 and spacer off?

yes i run vf3 and a 34mm with no spacer, stock carb should fit no problem....34mm just twust the carb a little
