i was wondering how much an increase of performance would i get from these?

another thing is the reed valve gaskets, does this mean when ever you take your reed valve out to look at the reeds you need a new gasket?

i dont have too much experience on reed valves and all that so sorry if this is a real stupid question
oh and another thing, if i get the reed valve can i use the stock intake boot?

and are reed valves same as reed cages?

v force 3s have better throttle response and better air flow. but you can get just about the same out of a stock reed cage with boyseen carbon fiber reeds. you can use the stock intake boot with vforce 3s but you do have to mod it the v forces come with directions on how to do it. BTW a reed cage is the thing that the reeds mount to.

yes you can use some boysen reeds with your stock cage, which i did before i had VF3s you do notice a difference over stock, but its really not as good overall as the Vforce3 system. and yes, not nessisarily with reeds, but it never a good idea to re-use gaskets when you disassemble and reassemble stuff. BTW, i have a VForce3 reed valve for sale, really cheap might i add...lol
