V-Force 3 Reed valve Q...Is THIS possible?

Hi all.

I was wondering what happen if you are not mounting the top of the reedcage and installing... I mean the seperatly part you click in..

I mean what will happen if I install it like the left one on the first picture? I have only tried like the right one on the first picture.

im pretty sure its there to direct airflow evenly. idk what would happin if you took it out tho

It will slow the intake velocity charge and you will loose peak power. The biggest loss I have noticed is on the back side of the curve (over_rev) or power past peak. I have spent time on the flow bench and dyno testing to help understand just how important the intake velocity can and will affect the power curve.

Ok im happy we cleared that up! NO benefit in removing the "lid" of the reedcage...

Thanks Kennedy... Then I wont have to try it out... waste gaskets and whatnot!
