Used blaster question

Bought a used blaster about 3 weeks ago. Noticed that under the seat in front of where the manuel and tools are held there is a large empty area that runs the length of the seat. Looks like something should be there any help on if im missing something there?

thats where ur air filter goes bro......now i see why u needed help installing it, u probably need the cage too then

yeah im new to the whole atv world I thought the air filter was located behind the engine or at least I have some type of filter there.

Is it possible there was some type of modification put on the blaster that moves the air filter under the stock seat location because I currently ahve a filter there or is this a filter for something else. Thanks so much for the help guys really appreciate it

ill put some pics on tomorrow but jsut looked at it and the filter is bolted directly onto the carb. Should I buy the intake housing and route it the correct way to the under the seat location?

what u have is a clamp on filter, not good if u are riding in dirty and dusty conditions..

If you want to do that I have a stock intake boot flange cage and uni filter for it I changed my intake so I don't need the stocker no more

what do you guys suggest would be the best to revert back to stock setup or keep it as it is and buy a k and n clamp on? I live in az which is alot of dusty riding conditions

u just need the stock air tube that connects to the box and a new filter and cage.....ask blasterboy794 he has a bunch parts he selling off
