Would you think it would be able to build a urthane mount?

I have an old kit from one of my hondas and i keep thinking why not.

The swing arm mount is solid but the front one why not it would have the solid metal shaft threw the urathane that would absorb

alot of the vibration

what do you think ?? Obviouly this is for the tri z swap

the motor already has a built in counter balancer for vibration. if say you swap motors for a motorcycle type motor then making mounts would be ideal to counter vibration. most atv motors have built in counter balancers and motorcycle motors don't. not sure why but it has to do with four wheels versus 2 or maybe front forks versus shocks for the vibration factor.

Car engines are counter balenced also.

Also are rubber mounted.

I dont see how it could cause a real issue unless something real to worry about.

car motors have a lot torque so there rubber mounted besides counterbalanced to give the motor some leeway to flex from side to side to put less stress on frame, tranny etc. also because your talking about a "v" type engine versus a up and down stroke. bigger motors have a lot more weight moving around also so there rubber mounted. i have a 77 honda odyssey 250 single dune buggy but it runs rubber mounts because there is no counter balancer and a polaris 400 scrambler that has counterbalance and rubber mounts because it's a bigger motor.
