update on the kxt250 'tecate' powered blaster

my buddy has stuck alot of time and money into it over the summer and fall,

had motor tore down to install a new kicker shaft, and inspect top end, reworked the pipe, +4 swinger, g force +2+4 axle, diamond j widening kit, redone frame, almost ready to go, needs chain yet, and air filter

and first start up since june,

only thing 'ghetto' is the radiator, have not figure out a better way to mount it, or dirt bike rads due to the pipe

When ya get the radiator fill cap below the head ya have to be real careful. Any air pockets that form will end up in the head. A lesson learned from racing water cooled karts. He may have an expansion tank up where I can't see it in the pic.
How bout a pic of how he solved the motor mount problem.

i thought about the radiator hight thing also.. but its seemed to always run and ride good..

he solved the mount issue for the most part, reinforced it and added to the lenght and width of the mount welds

its good the here that he almost has it going!
is he still using the intake boot that i send him?

he has a straight boot on it.. idk if thats the one you sent him?? he has the straight one on it and a angled one on the bench

i gave him an angled one from my kx

hes still got the straight boot on, cant run the angled one due to the pipe stil being on the left side, he needs to get a kx pipe so it will be on the right side

this ones been alive sinc elast winter, just refined it, and had to fix some stuff

yeah i had to switch back to the straight boot cuz of where the exaust is routed now so that it don't burn my leg anymore. it worked great till i tore it all down n modafided the pipe again
