update on my blasty

hey guys it has been about a week since my wreck and i have a couple updates on my blasty along with pics so you know i'm not lying. i got a brand new pair of black handlebars for it for free, i moved my keyswitch and it looks alot better now, and got some black rear fenders for 5 dollars.I:I

it wasn't hard all i did was take off that black cover with the key switch in it, there is a little screw on cover for the key switch around where the key goes in, i took that off and slid my keyswitch out, i got a drill and drilled as big a hole as i could, then i took a pair of scissors and got the hole almost big enough, then i got the drill again and made the hole just a bit bigger by wearing it out, then i got a utility knife and cut a little notch in the top since the keyswitch has a notch on top, then just slid it in and put the screw thing back on and i was done. took all of 1-3 mins.

looks pretty good dude but are you going for the volkswagon rabbit look with the different colors or are you goin all black or all blue looks cool either way just curious

man to be honest my friend had these rear fenders sitting around he got them with his blasty and i said, "hey man i'll give you 5 dollars for them" and he says, "alrighty then they're yours" and they came with a taillight but it is a suzuki taillight and the wire colors are different so idk if i can use it or not. i am getting maier custom rear fenders in blue, PB Taurus V1 hood in blue with black hood scoop, 400ex add on fenders in blue. but after i get those plastics i am thinking about investing in all black or all white 03+ plastics.

looking good! Why don't you just remove the key switch? one less thing to look for if you want to ride

haha i never lose my key i have used keys on all my stuff ever since i first got something to ride and i've been riding about all my life. i have nails to hang my keys on but if i don't hang them on the nails then i lay them on the kitchen table (next to my backdoor).

I dont have to wory about the key. The Pro Taper bars make it a real painn to take out and even worse to put in so it stays where it is at.
