uni air filter question

k my quad has a uni filter but it has 2 filters one is yellow and goes inside and i can remove it ,the outer one that is red, is it suppose to be like that with 2 filters ? seems like it would restrict air flow any help is appreciated i bought the quad this way

ya it is...but are they coming apart cuz i think its just suposed to be one whole...if its falling apart you need a new on asap

its not falling apart, the yellow is finer, and the red is more course, this is how it should be.

so thats right that its 2 filters that stack? sure is thick like that

had the same filter bro, yes it still flows just fine, just make sure it seals good, use some grease at the seal, and oil it of course

stock carb? if so throw a 280 mikuni on there and check the plug, needle 3rd clip from top usually
