uh oh..... rant

well, i am sitting here, insanely tired, and stressed with school comming to the end, i have a project due every day until the end of the week, and 3 exams this week, and 3 next week.

now i just found out that my summer job i have had for 2 years may not be happening because of government cuts. I was supposed to be promoted to a supervisor sort of deal, from my reg position. But apparently that position was terminated. And by the nature of the position i was in before you can only hold it for 2 years so other "student" can have a chance. Well that really f*cks me.

i dont fully understand why that rule is there, all i do is maintenance and clean sh*tters, why someone needs to lose a job so someone else can learn how to clean a toilet i dont know

I am drinking buddies with my supervisor, my foreman loves me, and the superintendent is my neighbour, but they only have so much pull being the government and all

i will likely here from my buddy (the supervisor) tomorrow with any scoop he can get. If it were fully up to the i wouldnt be worried, but its not

regardless i will likely no the definate outcome by the end of the week, all in all this is just terrible timing. I would rather have been in the dark i think

Well That's college jobs for you.......what can I say. I had probably about 10 different jobs through college and worked temp work for a while. College is about the worst hell you will experience through your lifetime while you will have some of the best times in your life in college it's like quicksand the most excruciating hell of your life too and you will be fighting and clawing to escape it. Best thing to do is to say f*ck it and don't sweat the small stuff and quickly move on. The more time you spend tinkering with it is more stress gained and more money lost dicking with it.........trust me..........I know all too well. Use your networking tools and what not to find a job ASAP and if it's sh*t then so be it........then keep an eye on a quality job and leave the sh*tty job. In this day and age, it's all about income flow and managing your class schedule and out of class schedule with studying, groceries, sleep, etc. It's a real biotch and a half.

You should feel lucky. I never attended a spring break.......then again, I never had much interest in cliche spring breaks........they were just aimless drunken money pits for me. My roommates the first couple years took out loans to go on them and basically came back and told me it's basically the same sh*t they did back at tOSU.......minus beaches.........except they blew a lot more money. I'd rather go do something interesting, but to each their own.

bahahaha, screw panama city, i mean panama as in the country, been there before, and it isnt for a binge drink, gunna bus across country, see the sights i seen 5 years agoa and more hopefully, thats if i can keep my damn job, i know my second job is still good.

Money isnt really a huge prollum for school, i have worked 2 jobs 2 years in a row now, and still live at home, ad am gunna get through first year with a $4000 surplus, thats with no help from my parents for they are broke
