Ok so I hopped on the blaster this weekend, let it get to operating temperature
Then took off down the road.bout a mile down it started losing power then died
Upon inspection I removed the plug just to find a small piece of metal wedged by the insulator and the gap closed.so I'm off today and decided to tear it down, guess what I found.... Intake side piston skirt busted to pieces and chunks of the dome gone!

Possibly caused by detonation from an air leak or improper jetting.

Be pleased to list your mods and jetting.

Are you premixing, if so what ratio?

Yes we can see your signature.

Upload pictures with the link at the bottom of my signature. The forum upload is not working atm.

As for your avatar, no clue...

Thanx herp.theres the damage.bits of the piston ended up in the exhaust as we'll. no clue how it didn't even scratch the cylinder wall

that's nasty man, u got some cleaning to do when u split the cases if it's in there and u didn't run it too long after it happened u should be ok but there's the possibility u may have damaged the cases, ur crankshaft, u don't know until u break it down and inspect it, I'm telling u when u do split em change all ur bearings out

Haven't had it but about a month and I put about 20 or so hours on it.the guy I got it from said it was freshly redone but who knows.my new wiseco come in today from riders discount.cylinder redone and Mic was done yesterday and I'm at what he says a true 68 mm bore.I ordered a wiseco top end kit so I have all the gaskets and such.
They hooked me up $130 for the kit

Since you are going to have to split the cases, it would pay to get new bearings and seals and end up with a trouble free motor.
