whats the difference between twist throttle and normal?? is it just how peope are comfortable

Twist throttles on quads are made of fail.

I do not like. Mine had one when I got it. I used it. I crashed cause of it. I got rid of it and never looked back.

They are only good on motorcycles, don't ever use one on an ATV or dirtbike.
It's just safer.

dude i love twist throttles my knees keep hitting the throttle and ive almost killed my self at least 7 times im gonna get a twist as soon as i have the money

dirtbikes are made with twist throttles. and anyone who rides one will say it shouldnt have a thumb throttle. i'd say its purely rider preference

Twist throttle here.I have thumb and twist and can go either way.I'm just used to my street bikes and it feels more comfortable.just depends on your preference I've not had any issues using twist on the street,trails,or track.if you can ride a street bike (in my case crotch rockets currently being a modded gsxr 1100) aggressively then the atv shouldn't be much different.

They are awkward as hell on a quad.... Keep thumbs on quads a twists on bikes.

I love twist throttles, but leave em' where they belong....

IMO it comes down to personal prefferance......

I like twist throttles better myself but I grew up riding dirtbikes so it is just natural for me... People say the are dangerous on quads but I have no problem with them.....

My dad's CRF has a thumb throttle, and for a 2 wheel bike, it's still better for both of us.
