Okay i have a 2005 honda trx 450r motor in good shape, all stock. Got it for a graduation present, but i also have a yamaha blaster and I want to put the 450r motor in the blaster. i was wondering how hard this would be or if its a lost cause. i think it would be funny to hear a 4 stroke coming then to see a blaster ripping.

my brain plays tricks on me it says trx 450r but what i read was trx 250r now thats what id love to see i think it would be more trouble than its worth but if you want go for it

im in standish, im a decent welder, ive done some pretty crazy projects before like a kx 125 motor in a moped and vmax 600 motor in a golf cart so it shouldn't be as hard as those
also did the kdx 200 in a 125 frame.

i have the complete quad i just would like to do this as a project,i just like making something cool. if not im trading it for a dirtbike if anyone has a 250 they want to get rid of

I'd try to find a 450r roller if you could. Seems like a waste of a 450 to put it in a blaster frame...

man i dont like motor swaps from other quads if you like the motor in a quad get that quad..... i dont mind dirtbike motor swaps though anyways just go buy the frame for that quad a trx motor in a blaster is senseless

i think on time in dirt wheels i saw a guy with a blaster who did something to his frame and put a yfz motor on a blaster frame, not sure how he did it though
