I have a 2003 yamaha blaster and I think that there is something wrong with one of my gears in the transmission. Every time I tap the gas when I'm moving it makes a really loud crack. It only does it in the lower gears. I don't know what to do. If you do, it would be appreciated if you told me. Thanks.:-/

Need a video to really try to figure it out, " It's Coming from right under me" that's not specific enough. What kind of "Crack" does it make? is it only when you bump the throttle or does it continue to do it while you are driving?

could be pistons?

Yeah.....most likely not. Seeing as the blaster has ONE piston.

And "Right under me" doesn't help much, seeing as the entire motor is right under you. LOL. But it is a possibility that you have teeth missing on either sprocket and that "crack" you are hearing is just the chain slipping.

It does it at first but it doesent continue after. If I'm going around 10 mph, and I punch it, it will crack 2 to 3 times an will stop after that

Also check carrier and swing arm brgs, rule out all the easy/obvious things first. Reason it only would happen in lower gears is because you have more multiplied torque.
