My son was shifting without using a clutch and as a result, lost a few gears I guess?

We have many Blaster motors in little YSR-50 motorcycles.

I need a new bottom-end, but was think about just buying a complete high-performance motor already built.

I don't have time to post 300x to make any offers to members.

Anyother way to get the word out?

i see you got your posting probs figured out :)

are you sure it's not just a shifter or shift star problem ?
time to open the clutch cover and have a look at those.

the downloadable service manual is in the general support section

I agree there is no reason to buy another motor. There is only a few things it can be and a visual inspection once you open it up will tell you right away. I would open up the clutch cover and have a peek. Also the blaster uses a mesh style transmission. As long as you use the clutch starting out it can be shifted with no clutch in other gears with no issues.
