trans vent ?

what would cause smoke to be blowing out of the tube? i'm thinking cracked cases or blown crank seal. one of my buddies is having this issue with his blaster.

also, it won't do anything when you kick it. it has 120psi (confirmed on my tester) getting gas, good reeds. you can pull it and it may or may not crank, but only backfires like crazy and pipe gets super hot. does this sound like a sheared flywheel key?

it has a bad seal... which is causing an airleak and possibly causing all your other problems... time to split them cases and fix the issue

i dont think you have to spit the cases to change crank seals

and check the flywheel key it could be sheared

these are all suggestions i made to him, but i wanted to back them up.

it should run with a bad crank seal and if its bad on the tranny side itll be burning the trans oil and smokin like crazy

it smokes worse out of the vent tube than it does the silencer. lol, seeing it out of the tube was a first for me.
