Trans vent hole has vacuum ?

So I did a leak down test that went great but while running I noticed the trans vent had vacuum so I tested it with a little oil and it sucked right up,

that doesn't seem normal to me.

is it smoking and/or using trans oil ?

When I first broke it in no but now It seems to be so I will check the crank seal.

a leak test created a vacuum? that doesnt make any sense. how could pushing air into the engine cause it to pull more air in as well???

I think he meant with the bike running not while doing the leak test

If. There is a vacuum in the gearbox then the crankshaft seal as failed allowing air to be drawn into the crankcase.
