as most of you know i work for aguy heling him restore/ finish collector cars, and detail cars for his lot, and othe rodds and ends,
found out today tower paint & design has a sever fire, fire was reported at about 4am and they didnt get it out tell about 615 am. so im sure its a tital lose, the newpaper report said the paint and wall paprt depts were a total lose i guess,
We get all our paint from them except for duplicolor and krylon stuff, all our custom mixes for the collector cars ( mostly deal with 60s muscle cars) there the only place in town that has laquer paints, and 'leaded' paints, used on 60s cars.
fine right??? theres other paint places right? yup but non offer laquer paints, which anyone that knows paints knows ya cant bet a laquer finish on a old car!!! this sucks!! i hope they do something and do it fast,
we gottta fiish the 67 ss rs camaro this week, than next week is the 71 cougar, we already have the paints for them so were ok on that..
BUT the 66 GTO is at the body guy and he is painting iot this week and its coming back next week and no paint for it, no truck or interior paint and no under hood paint
