Hey Blaster forum! I'm starting a Blaster rebuild, starting with the engine, but I have some questions before I start that I'm hoping you all could answer I:I . As of right now, I have a box or two of parts (pictures)

However, I know that I am missing the piston and crankshaft, as well as the cylinder needs to be honed. Does anyone have any recommendations or anything to keep in mind when I get it honed or where to pick up a piston and crankshaft?
Thanks

Any machine shop will tell you how much they need to take off the walls. I wouldn't do more than necessary but you can go up to 68mm. Piston kits go for decent prices on eBay so check there. I wouldn't get a used crank unless you can verify its true.

I would go with a Wiseco piston and have the work done by someone that knows what to do when working on 2 strokes. Some port work will really wake it up. If your looking for a great builder, I personally recommend Ken OConner racing.

Always buy the piston before boring and honing.

All pistons are close, but some can have small differences that will damage your engine BIG TIME!

Buy piston a size bigger than the bore you have, and then bring to the shop
