I had the skirt on my piston break off. I dont see or feel any damage to the cylinder can i get away with honing and buying same size piston? I mic'ed it and seems all the spec size...

easy answer.. yes... you may run into trouble though if you are not EXTREMELY careful honing... very easy to get the cylinder "out of round".. if it was me, i wouldnt touch it if i saw no damage and that the size was correct. and did you measure in all 3 places? (top, middle, bottom of cylinder walls?)

it needs to be gauged throughtout the bore.using a bore gauge.this will check to see if it is infact round right now.then you can proceed to hone after making sure it is within spec.

If you had a skirt break, you'll want to flush out the bottom end too. Nothing worse then having a small piece of piston take out a bearing.
