okay... so i just bought a motor to a 2001 blaster that needs to be bored because of scores in the cylinder and it has a small hole in crank case. and i have a problem i cant get the damn top end nuts off to take off the jug! is there any easy way to do this? i put screw loose on them tapped them let them sit and then used the correct sized wrench and turned them and nothing it just pops off of the nut. on all 4! i dont get it!

When you said you tapped them it confused me at first.. You gotta apply pressure downward on the bolts while turning, and try using a breaker bar, they will come loose eventually.. Unless your bolt is stripped because you said the wrench just pops off them. If they are stripped try using vise grips and just replace the nuts when your ready to reassemble.

give it some muscle....what do you mean it pops off ? like the socket comes off ? did you partically strip it ?

theres too little of space to use a ratchet. and i tried 2 diff times. to take em off. and the first time it started to strip em so i tried a diff wrench and the same thing and by popping off i meant starting to strip so i took them off the bolts are still perfectly fine to take off there not stripped just partially started and i cant get them off :(

put a pipe on the end of the wrench for more tork and make sure you hold it down...try spraying some PB blaster on it as well

You shouldn't use an adjustable wrench if that's what your using. Get a 14mm combination wrench and use that. Then, when your ready to torque, get an adapter welded on to your wrench so you have clearance for the torque wrench otherwise you can buy a motion pro one..
