what kind of jetting are u guys usin and how do i adjust the needle BTW im using a 300 main and its not running right

just go up to a 310 main and + one size on the pilot jet.

are you running lean or rich?

im not sure if im running rich its smoking and 95 with high humdity i put a 240 main and it still smoked and didnt idle wats a pilot jet

You should be in the 290-330main if stock carb. Running rich is better than lean. I know ya have a few post on this, is your idle, the issue, 1/2 throttle, or Wide open?

ok i put the 300 and adjusted my idle screw higher so it idles fine now but it still smokes and when i ride it ill get 15 ft then it bogs down and wont start up

I just reread all your posts, seems like 300 main should be close for your application. Have you seen what clip your needle is on? I had a rich problem when I dropped it one notch- so I put it back on the third (or middle) clip, runs much better now. No bogging in first or second. You say it's smoking alot, have ya checked to see if you are loosing crankcase oil, like is it low?

and it will start rite up when its cold but it takes a while when its warmed up

Ya have to remove the top of your carb and the needle will be sitting inside the slide, It will have a snap ring on it. should be able to slide it out.

You have to put the vid on u-tube or another site then copy the url and paste in a post i think, never did it.

the needle just wiggles around theres no clip on it

You should be able to pull the needle out and there should be a clip like a "C" and about four or five places to move that clip, Take a pic if ya can, this may be the problem-

how hard do i hav to pull does it just slide out and is it the one connected to the slider ill get pics up in a couple mins its just to hot out

I can't give ya a step by step, i don't have the same setup as you, i'm running an aftermarket carb but once i removed the slide and took the spring assembly off mine it slid right out. BTW your pic is of an X. Ya have at add image code like
