Is there a DIY for the timing advance mod? I cant seem to find it? Also while i have the side cover off i was going to paint it to match the quad. what kind of paint should i use that would hold up good?

do i actually have to buy a flywheels puller and holder or can i make a tool to do this? I thought i remembered seeing one that someone made
pullers are fairly cheap. i got mine of ebay for 13 shipped. i didnt use a holder on mine.
i didnt use a holder i just put a steel rod through the connecting rod but im trying to ride tomorrow and dont have time to get a puller. any other ways?
ouch! did you put a rag between the bar and the top of the cases. don't want any scarring there. and NO YOU CAN NOT pull the flywheel without a puller. 15 bux. you will break things trying to get it off any other way.

I had a rag and 2 blocks of wood on either side of the rod. The nut didnt seem extremely tight it came off pretty easily. i guess ill get a flywheel puller then. is ebay the best place to get them?

i thought it was something completly different. i have one of those for pulling 3 piece cranks apart on bmx bikes. i doubt its the same size but ill go try it
