tie rods on 400ex

Went out to tighten everything on my 04 Honda 400ex and noticed my ball joints on my tie rods are out. My question is, should I stay stock or go aftermarket? I dont wanna spend more than $125 either.

I think the reason they go out is because they have no grease fittings. I wonder how easy it would be to drill and tap out a hole for a grease fitting.

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to drill and tap a hole in it, but i'm not familiar with the 400ex

What I'm afraid of though is if i drill that I might end up f*cking up the one end. Maybe what I'll do is try it a couple of times on my old tie rod ends....?
