my tie rods and tie rod ends always bend, twist, snap and the tie rods always pull out of the sleeves. does anyone run the honda style ones? are they any better than the stock yamaha style? do they break as much? any good heavy duty yamaha style ones?

you can convert yourself or buy ricky stators setup, its pricey at $200 but bulletproof. to do it yourself, you would need to but the honda ends, make your own tie rods and turn some adapters on a lathe as the hondas are straight while the yamaha has a taper. if you have access to a machine shop it's to do it yourself, if you dont it's not. another option is to buy some heims, then drill out the taper but you will still have to make your own tierods using both right and left male ends.
