no, as with any cable adjustment, it is used to adjust slack out of a stretched cable, not adjust carb or brake functions.
too loose and it could effect the carb slide not opening completely, possibly robbing top end power.
it should have a little play, so when the bars are turned the engine doesn't rev.
get the jamb nut loose and play with it a little with the bike running, you'll see what it does.

it is fine now i havent adjusted anything i jus wanted to see if it could make a difference thanks lol

if your throttle lever moves too far before actually pulling on the cable, your cable is stretched, and adjusting it can make a difference by opening the carb slide to it's maximum.

the throttle lever does move a little before engaging now that you say that ill have to play with it a little

You said that the adjustment Is so when you turn your bars it won't rev, but why does my blaster stall when u stretch the throttle cable

Maybe the idle is not set correctly, see if the following helps.

Idle adjusting.

Start with air screw 1.5 turns out.

Set idle screw so that it has some sort of idle. On top of TORS, or midway on carb.

Warm up motor and then set idle screw for a fast idle.

Adjust air screw either way to get the fastest idle.

Adjust air screw a little at a time leaving 10 secs to allow the motor to respond.

Re adjust idle screw for desired idle .

The engine idles perfect, I have no problems with it shutting off because of the idle being to low, only when I stretch the throttle cable
