Throttle cable woes

Just bought a Blaster, needed a throttle cable and throttle assembly. I bought one from dennis kirk, and it seems the cable is too short. Am i doing something wrong or is the cable a P.O.S. ??

you might of ran the cable different through the frame than stock or possibly it isn't a stock carburetor or is it possible you bought the wrong yr cable for it?

Its a stock carb. Is there a size difference in throttle cable if you use a twist throttle instead of the thumb??

How did you run the cable?
Did you get the right cable?

Yes its the right cable, but its too short. I think its cause I am using a twist throttle.

you need to get the cable that is meant for your twist throttle like if your twist throttle is motion pro you have to get the motion pro twist throttle cable
