i just moved my clip up on my needle, reinstalled the tors, and now i have no thumb throttle response? not sure but i pulled the tors back out and it was hooked up right, the throttle cable is in the brass lever from the thumb throttle, but when i put it back together and push the throttle it doesn't move the lever like it is suppose to, if it is the slide stuck, how would i go about fixing it?

You may have to turn your slide 180 degree's. Pull the carb out of the boots and make sure the slide is almost all the way closed.

if its a stock carb ,there is a slot that needs to be lined up or its not goin anywheres, and if the slide is damagaed you may need a new one

slide is undamaged, and the needle is in the hole it is suppose to go in, but when i put tors back on the carb, it acts like it is stuck, it pushes the lever back up and the throttle cable becomes loose with no thumb throttle response.

not all that familiar with what you just said, where can i check this? not a carb guru give me some step by step stuff to try and i will do it tomorrow, might have to be thorough so i can decipher it and get my quad to run so i can go play in the snow!

He is talking about this slot in the center of the guys index finger. tab or pin on the carb aligns in that. Could be a spring in the tors or the actual throttle in a bind.
