it may work i am sure you will need to fab up some brackets but hey...,..its cheap even if you ahve to pay a welder 50 bucks
I tried it but no luck, the r6 and r1 brakes are too much of a biotch to hook up get yourself some 400ex rear brakes.
Hate to be a buzzkill but I don't really see the point to these conversions when a properly setup and maintained stock hydro brake will lock the rear up. After lockup it doesn't matter what brakes you have.
Beyond that anything else is just flashy IMO and prone to failure if not fabbed up professionally.

go with a banshee setup.you can switch to the 03+ pedal,and you need to make a bracket for the caliper.i mounted my master cylinder where the metal heel guards bolt to the frame
Its not worth the time with the R6 and R1 brakes. sh*t i bought a BRAND NEW complete system, got all excited and i was like wtf? So my dad who is extremely good with just about everything and hes a professional welder said the same thing, it just wouldnt be worth the time, plus i didnt have the clip that holds the one side of the brake pad, so i just ditched the idea and there sits a brand new set of brakes in the garage 
its not gunna happen anytime soon thanks for the help anyhoo...im gunna try to get mine working better
