yea i always have it in high gear riding slow when i pull in. and as for my silencer i read about it so yea it is supposed to be quieter than powercores so maybe i do need new packing. my friend has a blaster with the powercore and mine is much louder than his

I used the white packing for mine and it worked fine. Where are the rivets you're talking about(on the tip of the exhaust, or where it attaches to the pipe). I drilled out the rivets on the tip of my exhaust and later realized that there were allen screws on the other end and I never even had to drill out any rivets. I have a powercore pipe though, so it might be different
