sup guys !aint on here to much anymore , but just tought i'd give you an update on the yfz .
well it ran lean(blew a head gasket) and fried the rings,ordered a new set just waiting on gaskets,i got a mechanic to look and inspect everything he also did the valvesre-seated them or something??) and did the clearences ,he said it will work like bran new the onlt bad things he found was the clutch cable ,swingarm bearings,front shocks and bolt !he only charged 100 labour and is putting it all back together.
so i ordered :
clutch kit
clutch cable
rings(got them)
gaskets
petcock(old one diddnt like reserve lol)
and ordering a gytr graphics kit two bros m7 slip on with fmf powerbomb header tomorrow (getting it for 170 shipped)only problem is on of the tabs on the exhaust has broke off which i will just get welded,ordering it tomorrow hopfully .i should be spraying the vaalve cover,clutch cover, bead lockers,timing cover bolts(big bolts on the crank case) a strong blue on tuesday or wensday ! i also polished the engine mounts and the oil tank ressie yesterday .. got back bracks and braided lines a month or 2 ago also. finaly getting someware!the mechanic said i could have a spare BB jug he had (athena 471) which needs replating for free but would cos to much once i get the piston and re-plating done .so all it needs is the front shocks rebuilt and rear tyres and it'l be ready to rip
