Ive read several articles about this, but this one here pretty much says it.

I've talked to dealer mechanics and they say they've never seen a blown motor with oil injection. Most of the blown motors they see they say are from people who do the block off kit and don't know what they're doing.
I like mixing though, and 32:1 works good for most applications! I have a chainsaw, weed wacker, and leaf blower that all run fine on 50:1.

Im sorry a plastic gear is far from 100% relaible. thats all i read to and thats all i need to respond too.
good friend rebuilt both of the blasters he had, one had oil injection the other had premix. The one with the oil injection just blew up, and the one with premix is still running strong.He rides the one that he premixes harder too.
