It depends on the modifications. There is a very large difference between stock speed and modified speed.

ok.... can anyone give a speed or at least a ball park? I have a spot where I can run next to the turnpike in florida where the speed limit is 70mph and I can almost keep up with the semi's I can see through the trees. well atleast before I blew it up. lol. I know I'm not goin 70 but maybe 60 or so. runnin 14/40 gears

with a .20 over, stock fresh rebuilt motor, aktive reeds, uni filter, f7 pipe, 20 inch rear turf tamers, stock gearing,

Awk, 9000 rpm will give you 59.64 with that setup. if tthe tires ballon to 22's youd be at 58.27 at 8000 rpm. my guess since its hard to pace somebody accurately, you were probaly closer to 55. tire size makes a huge differnce
7500 rpm, stock 13/40 gearing
22" tire: 54.63 mph
20" tire: 49.7 mph
18" tire: 44.67
Going from 22's to18's is a full 10 mph difference in 6th gear at 7500 rpm.
This is one of the major reason I run the kenda scorpions in the desert... so-so traction but they ballon bigtime at speed. the so-so traction is actually a good thing as it helps the tranny live when you skipping along the desert topped out in 6th.

idk what the top speed of mine with my 22's ( that measure about 23") is but it is soooo much faster than with 18's, there is a huge difference
Well mine has stock tires and stock gearing but has,
fresh 20 over piston
FMF pipe and Powercore2 silencer
boysen reeds
and stock carb with a 270 main
and I clocked it(gps) at 57 on a bumpy dirt road, with my 6'2" 210 but on it.
