from my amature opinion it doesnt look bad at all, when we did my engine rebuild pulled the clutch just to check it and it was still good as can be from 2001

but your clutch doesnt look bad, but im no pro
and the pic quality isnt the best but you can get the idea pretty well

it slipped under load.. i could snap it and launch, but 3-4-5-6th would slip

hmmm id, but the plates dont look bad, some times you can fix the clutch slipping just by adjusting it, thats what my dad did on his 250r before he rebuilt the whole engine, clutch and all

your steels have burn marks. i am thinking the clutch wasn't adjusted correctly.

i adjusted it when i owned it in spring and it was better for all of 20 min, and its been rode all summer but the prev owner with the clutch bad... the fiber disks are almost smooth, pressure plate and clutch basket look mint though,

and i see what you ment by adjusting it sucks .. there bright idea for the notched rod going threw the clutch into the arm for the cable is a brilliant idea 8-|

ya the steels are burnt meaning it got hot, cant tell about the fibers but there is a spec on that stuff.

dimpled steel plates will slip at load in the jhigher gears put undimpled steels in and teh problem will be gone of course id also stick new fibers in at the same time

only cause you should have seen the clutch in my friends shee (there was nothing left, like gone) the worst ive ever seen and it was still grabbing. we were amazed
