Your best bet is to just have it bored and honed to the next usable size because it could be out of round in which deglazing wont really do any good.

Very hard to tell from the pic, but it looks as though you snagged a ring. Were the ports properly chamfered after your last bore job?

As far as the new cylinder, there is no way to tell from a picture whether or not it will need bored. You should take it to a trusted automotive machine shop and have them run a bore guage through it to see if it is within spec and can get by with just a hone.

i have owned and riden my blaster with that motor in it for more then a year and i have never had any work done to the motor...
this happened when i was pegged in 6th gear trying to see how fast i could go.....oh yeah i went 54mph

haha sorry for the confusion the pics of the jug are of the spare jug i have laying around not what was on the quad sorry haha...
the reason i shown those pics is because i wanted to know if i could get away with just deglazing it...
the jug came off a 05 blaster and the motor that caught a ring on the exhuast port was on a 93

ok i just took the jug off and got some better pics but yeah the ring caught the exhaust port for sure its pretty obvious....
oh yeah and for those of you takeing out the sir clips that hold the wrist pin on hold a towel over your hands while your doing it or be careful because those suckers can FLY all i heard when i took it off was ZINGGGG!! and then i was like OMFG
